I went to the mail box to mail a letter. On the way I saw an Irish Setter sitting on a hill. I wanted to pet it, but didn't want to get bit. Altought filled with fear, I lifted up my hand to pet the Setter on the head. Just then a woman with red hair came up to me and said,"Does you dog bite?'' I answered,"No, have no fear.My dog doesn't bite or kill.'' The pretty miss then petted the Setter on the neck, but it bit her.
"I thought you said your dog didn't bite!'' she said.
"I did,'' I answered, "but this is not my dog.'' |
