LONELINESS--TODAY'S BIGGEST DISEASE
Everybody on the deck had somebody see them off----everbody except me. I felt lonely, terribly lonely. Watching the hugging and kissing and goodbye, I wished there would be sombody missing me ,too. even if only a few minutes, even if pretended at this moment.
I saw a youngster and asked his name.
"Alittle Stone," he answered.
"Well,Alittle Stone," I asked,"Would you like to earn a few money?"
"Sure, I would! What do I have to do."
"Just wave to me as I leave," I instructed.
It is said that money can buy love, but Alittle Stone wave to me to say goodbye as the boat pulled out for 6 Yuan(RMB). I writted:" someone laughed, some cryed; someone waved white handkerchief, someone waved his hat. And I? I had Alittle Stone. For getting 6 Yuan, he waved a red towel to me, which keep me leaving away from the abyss of loneliness."
Sometimes we maybe feel lonely. but there always will be someone whose heart is so stronge that he can admit it bravely.
One phsychotherapist says that the first step to cope with loneliness is admitting it, sequentailly he will vent freely. For once we recongnize it, then we can do something about it.
What we can do?
ask help from friends and relatives.
Too many people feel lonely because they have been building "walls" instead of "bridges".
Maybe, we can find another lonelist, and help to fill the blankness of his emotion. There are lonelists all over the world----Florider discribed the loneliness as "the biggest disease" in our era. And the loneliest do not all live in the nursing home, nor do they all live by themselves.
Eventually, we will find, in spirit world, we are not lonely.
This provide us a opportunity to deep into our spirit world and know ourselves deeply.
King Caley, the comedic movie star of America, quiped "We all face loneliness alone." But, of course, it's not true. The happiest thing is recognize the power in the word "together". |
