What we live for?
Sometimes when I am free from the busy study, I will be depressed and a question hovers in my mind: why do I have to keep myself so busy and tired? What is the purpose of life? Is it for money? Is it for fame? Or is it for love and sex? I am so bewildered? Hundreds of years ago, you and I will be all nonexistent, but for what we learn, work, get married, bear children and contribute a lot to others and the society? What do we pursue in our life?
In fact, our disappointment and vexation result from our greed and the motive to get what we haven’t owned. Since we are all destined to die in future, someone would take their life for granted, killing time by playing online games or playing cards with fainéants night after night. Is it worthy of spending your precious time on the trivial matters?
After careful thinking, I think we must do something meaningful in our life, or else we would live in vain. It is a pity that a great number of people don’t realize it. What they care is just loaves and fishes(物质利益)without attaching more importance to the meaning of life. We can live a colorful life by serving people heart and soul and devoting ourselves to the constructions of our society Harmonious Socialist Society
