爱德华到了世外桃源般的丰都镇，这里的人们热情好客，他们希望爱德华能够永远留下来，可是爱德华觉得似糖如蜜般的生活不是自己所追求的，于是他选择离开，和巨人卡尔继续闯荡。
Monckton: Hey, Edward!

Mrs. Monckton: Jenny thinks you're quite a catch. We all do.
Edward: What?
Mrs. Monckton: I said you're quite a catch.
Edward: I...I...I have to leave...tonight.
Monckton: Why?
Edward: This town is more than any man could ask for. And if I were to end up here, I would consider myself lucky. But the truth is, I'm just not ready to end up anywhere.
Monckton: But no one's ever left.
Jenny: How are you gonna make it without your shoes?

Monckton: You won't find a better place.
Edward: I don't expect to.
Jenny: Promise me you'll come back.
