The other day a Chinese girl told me that to go with the traditional custom,one's
marriage has to be decided by his or her parents and that accordingly,her mother's
marriage was arranged by her grandparents,but her sister has broken the tradition.
"How?" I asked.
"Her marriage was arranged by her unborn baby."
"What do you mean?"I was puzzled.
"She has to get married because of her premarital pregnancy,"she explained in
embarrassment.
儿女做主的婚姻
一天，有位中国姑娘对我说，按照传统风俗习惯，孩子的婚姻必须由父母做主，因此她母亲的婚姻是由她祖父安排的，不过，她姐姐却打破了这个惯例。
“如何打破的？”我问。
“她的婚姻是由儿女做主的。”
“这是什么意思？”
“她是未婚先孕，不得已而结婚的。”她不好意思的解释说。 |
