Last night I did not sleep well. I felt extremely upset because of some troubles. I hit the sack at about 2 o’clock but waked up at 5:30 and could never fall into sleep again. I came to the washroom and refreshed my mind by washing by face with a wet towel.
With my age rising I have a stronger and stronger sense of my own principle of behaving in life. To make it clearer, I have the basic requirement for myself and my friends, my family and my lover. For myself, I will definitely act in accordance with my norm. But for others, I do not know whether they can act accordingly. Actually my principle is not that high to reach and it is the basic element that forms our mutual relationship. But still, not everyone can comply with it. So those who cannot comply with it should be strangers to me forever. Maybe you will think I am somehow going to extreme. But that is the way I am doing. If you cannot fit into it, just steer clear of me. If I lose these principles, I am not myself.
Now I also come to realize that if we are destined to lose something that does not belong to ourselves or fit ourselves, we should never be reluctant and do everything to keep it. Such kind of deed will only bring us continuous pain in the future. Letting it go is the best way to minimize the suffering! However miserable we may feel at that time, we should still look forward optimistically and try to find another replacement. Life is still very long and precious, therefore we should pull ourselves together and seek the deepest happiness of life! We should say to ourselves that we can still live on, even better without something or some people! Then we will ultimately become true victors. |
