As a ERP project Leader , i think: it should be useful to open my experience for improvement ERP project ,it is useful for all new person who want to study IT or ERP software
I have worked 10 years for IT and ERP project , but expressed me most is in the first company working experience ,though it is failure .during the 1.5 years ,i start to know ERP , start to master hardware and software , start to make communication with other Dept. clerks for cooperating for ERP project , it is very very important for my future
after leaving the first company , i start to improvement ERP system , just acting as IT supervisor in team, i make schedule and control the process , i provide my suggestion for solving all kinds of difficult , it is very very hard , but after that period ,you will feel it is worthy doing.
by the way , if you have spare time , the most important thins is studying Accounting knowledge ,it is also very important to know the whole process of ERP ,after studying , you will know all kinds of reports in company , you know what the GM's requirement ,Account managers's requirement , etc . so you can quickly give your viewpoint for solving such things
another ability : basic software development , as you know , every company have special requirement for themselves ,especially for account Dept. , such as report , table format .etc
how to solve these ? the common way is development twice ,that means : gain data from ERP system and make all kinds of report just as company requirements , if you know some knowledge about how to development , it is useful and rapid to solve thus problems
