这两天为了奖学金的事情弄得头晕脑转，同时心情也很不好。上学期的期末考差了，本以为还可以拿个学业二等奖，可是最后居然连二等也拿不到，真的让我惊讶得无语。我怎么也想不到去年大家的平均成绩会这么高，当知道结果那一刻我整个人呆滞了，怔怔地盯着电脑的屏幕。本来我对优秀干部二等奖兴趣是不大的，虽然我是班长有机会申请，可是现在没有了学业奖学金，这个干部奖就对我意义重大了，因为过去两年都拿了奖学金，今年最后一年拿不到实在是大煞风景。接下来就是努力申请的过程。然而一个班只能有一个优秀班干部，而我们班有两个班长，男班是我，女班是刘滢，所以我们只能有一个是优干，这又让我头痛了，因为不管是我们哪一个被选中了，另一个都是挺惨的，因为我们为班集付出的努力和汗水是不相上下的。
可能上天可怜我了，过了两天全彬对我说桂庙华城社区要推荐我为社区先进个人，只要写申请了也可以拿优秀干部二等奖。What a relief! 终于不用和女班争了！这是个皆大欢喜的结果啊！可是想想，我觉得挺惭愧的，因为我总觉得我评上社区先进个人有点不够格，比我优秀的人还有不少。大约一个月前，我们华二华三要出海报，全彬叫我写一篇大学的感言，激励一下新来的师弟，提笔之际，依旧倍感惭愧，因为我成绩也不算挺尖，现在居然要上社区的板报了。前几天看到海报出来，看到自己写的那篇文章，再看看全彬为我拟的题目《小琪有约》，让我久久驻立，久久回味。我在想，既然自己做得不够好，就用这个板报来激励自己把剩下的大学生活过好点吧，争取创造更多的成绩，不要辜负大家对我的期望！
最近院办的辅导员乐小芳老师一直关心着我的奖学金的事情，因为她明白奖学金对我去香港留学的意义，这让我非常感动。有时想想我这次真够悲哀的，因为我一直觉得我会有学业奖的，可是这次偏偏就没有，害得我为了个干部奖绞尽脑汁，比当年曹操败走华容道还要尴尬，想不到我赖小琪也有今天了，想想也只能苦笑。虽然说期末改卷的老师是有毛病的，可是也不能否认自己学得不够扎实，最重要的还是自己的原因，所以这个学期我真的丝毫不敢放松，要争取考好，以后顺利去香港。
心情不好，最好的办法就是去商场购物和狂吃东西，呵呵。上周六和周日早上都要去博智教BEC口语和听力，needless to say, 我和各位同学又度过了两次愉快的课程，看到他们不断地进步，我也为他们感到高兴。上完课11点30分，周六那天早上先去人人乐买东西。本来只打算进去逛逛买箱牛奶的，可是一进去了就发现很多东西想买，什么玉米肠啊，椰子汁啊，营养快线啊，还有各种水果，等到出商场结账时，我推了半车东西出来，最后大带小带地提回宿舍，累得手都快断了，银行卡更是大出血！周日早上回来时决定不从人人乐那条街走了，走另一条路，可是经过岁宝百货，想起要买些八宝粥来应急，有时早上不用上课可以吃早餐，可是一进去，购物欲又狂增，最后又是一车子东西出来，银行卡又大出血~~~舍友都说我的房间可以开小店了~~~~发现自己挣钱容易，花钱更容易，简直是流水一样，难怪我总是存不了钱，以后要好好budget一下才行咯~~~~
下面是帮一个同学的朋友写的一篇演讲稿，他在公安局工作，这篇稿是参加迎大运会的英语演讲比赛的：
深圳大学 赖小琪
Honorable judges, distinguished ladies and gentlemen,
Today it is my great honor to stand here and deliver my speech titled “super service, best care”.
As the tenth university students’ sports games is impending, we are trying our best to make full preparation for it. As a member of the Public Security Department, I want to detail what I intend to do during the games so as to make it smoothly carried out.
First of all, as a police man, my main responsibility is to secure people’s property and lives. So during the sports games, I will still carry out my responsibility to safeguard the order of our city, especially the sports games venues. As is known to all, when the sports game is on the way, there will be numerous athletes as well as audience in the stadium. Therefore, we will come up with the most feasible schedule that can prevent the potential crimes and provide timely emergency needs.
Secondly, I will spare no effort to offer best service to all the attendees. The participants of the sports games come from all over the country and many of them are not familiar with the paths in Shenzhen. Hence, I will answer their questions patiently and solve the problems they come across. I want to let them sense the hospitality of people in Shenzhen as well as the sound service and super qualities of policemen.
Thirdly, to ensure a successful sports event, it is totally insufficient only to rely on the power of our policemen. Every individual should shoulder their responsibility to the event. Therefore, I will do my utmost to publicize the event and call on more volunteers to join us in providing consultancy or other forms of services to the new comers in Shenzhen. Involving every class of people in the games plays a dispensable role in the final success of the sports event.
Last but not least, as the university students’ sports games is a nationwide event, there will surely be some foreign friends come to enjoy it. Hence, in order to show our enthusiasm to foreign friends and leave a good impression on them, we need to further strengthen our English ability, particularly speaking ability. That is why I participate in this competition. I want to refer to this competition as a motivation to improve my English level, so that I can become more qualified in my role in the sports games.
Altogether, as policeman, our identity may be ordinary, but our role is vital to some extent. We should always keep our responsibility in heart and do remember our slogan: super service, best care!
