据美国《福布斯》杂志15日报道，一项调查显示，以丹麦为首的4个北欧国家，在“全球最幸福的国家和地区”中占头5位，原因是这些国家人民生活富足。中国大陆位列第125名，中国香港则排名第81位。
According to the Forbes’ report of July, 15th, a survey showed that four North Europe countries, with Denmark being a leading role, ranked among the top 5 numbers of the happiest countries and regions around the world due to their prosperous national well-being. China ranked 125 while Hong Kong 81.
“盖洛普世界民意调查”在2005至2009年间，访问来自155个国家及地区数千名受访者，让他们将自己的生活满意程度，以1至10评分，得出“人生评估”幸福指数。指数高的人属“生活如意者”，其他则为“处身逆境者”及“饱受折磨者”。研究人员根据每国“生活如意者”所占百分比，得出排名。此外，受访者又被问及之前一日的幸福程度，如是否休息足够、受尊重、远离病痛及是否有益智消遣等，得出“每日体验”幸福指数。
The “Gallup World Poll” interviewed thousands of people from 155 countries and regions during 2005 to 2009, letting them note down a score ranging from 1 to 10 to describe their life satisfaction, reaching a “happiness index” for their lives. Those who got a high index belong to “life appreciator” while those who got a low index belong to “life sufferer”. The researchers of the survey worked out the ranking according to the proportion of “life appreciators” among the whole population in a country. Moreover, the interviewers were asked about how he felt the day before, such as whether he had got enough rest and deserved respect, and whether he had felt in good condition and got enough good entertainment, so as to reach “daily happiness index”.
根据排名，头5个幸福地依次为丹麦、芬兰、挪威、瑞典和荷兰，它们不但地理位置邻近，而且都高度繁荣。盖洛普指，这些国家的国民基本需要得到较大满足，所以比较幸福。根据美国中央情报局关于227个国家的经济数字，丹麦2009年的人均国民生产总值是3.6万美元，优于其它196国。
According to the rank, the top five happiest countries were Denmark, Finland, Norway, Switzerland and Netherlands in the order of the degree of happiness. They are geographically close to each other and enjoy a high-degree prosperity. Gallup pointed out that national basic needs in these countries have been met to a large extent, so people feel happy. According to the economic data of 227 countries from the US CIA, Denmark’s annual GDP per capita reached 36, 000 US dollars in 2009, exceeding that of other 196 countries.
但盖洛普又指，国民收入虽和幸福有密切关连，但心理和社交需要是否得到满足也是幸福关键，这正好从“每日体验”幸福指数反映。例如哥斯达黎加虽然国民收入不高，但在调查中排名第6，正是因为社交网络紧密，国民常常感幸福。该国的“每日体验”幸福指数为8.1，比丹麦还要高。
But Gallup also pointed out that though GDP interrelates with happiness, psychological and social needs’ fulfillment is also another key for happiness, which can be well reflected in the figure of “Daily Happiness Index”. For instance, Costa Rica does not have high GDP, but it ranks 6 in the survey due to its tight social network that renders its people feel happy. Its “Daily Happiness Index” is 8.1, higher than that of Denmark.
