华裔电影制片人丹·林目前正极力希望促成一部尚未命名的《古墓丽影》的电影计划付诸实际，而这部当年一手捧红了安吉丽娜·朱莉的电玩改编电影也有望在阔别多年之后重新回归电影银幕。
据好莱坞媒体的报道，制片方有意启用《创：战记》的80后女星奥利维亚·王尔德来顶替一姐安吉丽娜·朱莉来出演劳拉这一角色。有内部人士透露，“与之前几部电影相比，这次的剧集主题将更加黑暗，要让这个巾帼不让须眉的角色再度于银幕重生，这对于导演和编剧来说是不小的挑战，奥利维亚·王尔德是目前所考虑的演员之一，她会是个不错的人选”。
最新一部的《古墓丽影》排开时间还尚未确定，影片也许最快也要等待2013年才能与观众见面。
Producer Dan Lin is pushing forward with his proposed Untitled Lara Croft Tomb Raider Project, which will be a complete reboot of the original Angelina Jolie series based on the popular video game.
Today, it is rumored that Olivia Wilde is being lined-up to take over the title role of Lara Croft from Angelina Jolie.
An insider close to the project had this to say about the upcoming Untitled Lara Croft Tomb Raider Project.
"This would be a far darker and more serious Tomb Raider movie, the idea is to get a top director and an intelligent script and make this an empowering character for women as well as a popular one with men. Olivia Wilde is one of the names being suggested for the lead role. She would appear to be ideal."
There is no production start date planned for Untitled Lara Croft Tomb Raider Project, but it will most likely not see a release date until sometime in 2013.
