槛菊愁烟兰泣露。
罗幕轻寒，
燕子双飞去。
Outside the railings are sad chrysanthemums
Over the dews are weeping orchids
The silk curtain is too thin to resist coldness
Through the window I see a pair of swallows fly off it.
明月不谙离恨苦，
斜光到晓穿朱户。
The bright moon knows not the taste of departure and miss
It is bitter beyond her belief.
She sheds her rays through the red windows
Breaking the dawn quietly.
昨夜西风凋碧树。
独上高楼，
望尽天涯路。
Last night the west wind faded the green trees
I ascended to the pavilion
Overlooking the pathway endless
欲寄彩笺兼尺素，
山长水阔知何处！
I am about to post my love letter and poems
Only to watch the vast rivers and high mountains vacantly
Without knowing where you are now staying. |
