昨晚深夜, 我接到一个好朋友的电话.他向我说了他的一些事情后, 我就失眠了.
我真的被他的事情完全震惊了, 听完以后, 我也感到六神无主.我可以想象他在电话那头的无助与战栗.我不知道该怎么帮助他, 我只能不停地安慰他. 而同时, 我也感到很感动, 因为我觉得他是完全信任了我, 才把他的那些事情告诉我的. 后来他和我说, 虽然他知道我也帮不了他什么,但是可以毫无保留地把那些困扰了他无数个日夜的事情说了出来以后, 他觉得整个人像释放了一样, 没有那么压抑了.然后, 我对他说, 事情既然已经过去了,不管当时你是怎么想的, 也不管你现在有多愧疚, 也于事无补了. 最后,他说, 感谢你理解与信任我.
是的, 我们都需要别人的理解与信任, 特别是在你彷徨与无助的时候. 如果你有一个完全可以信任的人, 一个你几乎可以把许多你不想让别人知道的重要的事情告诉他的人, 那么你是非常幸运的, 因为人生中, 这样的一个人实在太难找了.而且可以毫不夸张地说, 许多人穷尽一生也找不到这样一个人.
当然, 如果你想找到这么一个你可以完全信任的朋友, 那么你首先就要成为别人完全信任的朋友. 一个左右摇摆, 心机过重的人, 是不可能获得别人的信任的. 对我来讲,如果一个朋友曾经出卖了我, 比如说我和他说了一些事情, 我叫他不要对别人说, 而结果, 他却跑去对别人说了, 那么我从此以后就不会再信任他, 不管他是我的朋友还是亲人,甚至是我的亲生父母. 我一直觉得,当别人对你推心置腹时, 说明别人已经把你当成是最好的朋友, 那么你就应当尊重和关心别人, 而不是在最关键的时候出卖他.这种人是最为人所不耻的!
我非常庆幸我有这么一个我可以完全信任的亲戚. 不管我和她说了什么, 她都不会去和任何人说. 她只会站在我的立场给我提供建议, 引导我如何面对所有的困难.这么多年过去了, 很多事情,我也始终只是对她说, 因为我知道, 她是一个值得我信任而且让我有倾诉欲望的人.
所以,如果你遇到这样一个人, 千万要珍惜,因为在你的漫漫人生中,很可能再也没有第二个这样的朋友了.

Some people think that the government should provide funding for arts. Others, however, believe that the money should be spent on public health and education. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Even though government of every nation can collect a large sum of money by levying taxes on various products and services in its country, its budget is still limited in the sense that there are growing demands for funds in a wealth of projects and fields such as arts, public health and education. Therefore, funds distribution in different fields has caused a heated debate among the public.
Some people attach great importance to health and education and deem that a decent proportion of funds should be allocated in this regard. There is a great deal of truth in this argument in that health and education play a pivotal role in citizens’ well-being as well as a nation’s long-term development. In terms of health care, if the government does not invest sufficient funds in citizens’ medical care, they may be tortured or even killed by the diseases which could otherwise be prevented or cured with proper government finances. Without a sound medical care system, people would not feel secured and happy when their health and life is at the menace. As with education, it is a significant channel to cultivate talents and elites for a nation, which undoubtedly deserves sufficient funding in regard to a nation’s long-term prosperity.
However, providing due funding for health and education does not mean that we should abandon arts. Instead, we should spare no effort to develop arts as well because arts is an invaluable asset for human beings when it comes to enriching our mental lives.
Altogether, from my perspective, I think the government should not discard investment in arts. They should know how to strike a balance in the distribution of budgets in different fields like health and education according to their nation’s specific needs and circumstances. |
