These days I have been too busy to write any articles. Several days ago, I just finished my BEC test, which had bothered me for such a long time. you know in the past several months I had been struggling with the preparation for it. Every day I had to memorize a given amount of professional terms and phrases, do some mock exercise and listening. Though I love English very much, I still felt tedious when doing the routine work. I am inclined to enjoy English novels and poems as well as some beautifully written prose, yet during the past several months, my time for appreciating what I love was subtracted at a large margin. It had been shifted to the business English.
Now I have finished my BEC exam and plan to make a rendezvous back with my favorite. Nevertheless, the final exams are impending again, leaving less than a month for me to poise for them. it is beyond anyone’s wildest dream how much I have fallen behind in my major subjects. Worse still, all the subjects these semester are awfully arduous and need great efforts and time to overmaster. Now I am just more than distraught to do anything.
But life still wheels itself forward waiting for no man. I tell myself again and again that I cannot be defeated by the finals. I must pull myself together and strive ardently than ever to achieve my goal. I should definitely believe in my strong self-learning capability! So these days I am just like a fighter combating with my schoolwork! I am firmly believe that perseverance will ultimately pay! Come on!
Incidentally, here I want to convey my wholehearted gratitude to my friends who always care so much for me. They care for my life, my study and my English exams. They always show their warm hands to me when needed, which makes me feel considerably grateful! When I was ill several weeks ago, they helped me seek for some potent drugs to cure my toothache. When I was going to take the BEC, they aided me by providing some exercise books and listening materials for me. It is beyond any delicate word to express my gratefulness in heart! Thank you all again!
