这是我一个同学写给我改的一篇小短文,看到这篇文章我感到很感动.一方面我被文中的故事感动,另一方面我感动于她英语的进步.从开学到现在,她差不多坚持每周写两篇作文给改,现在我明显看到她进步了,我感到很欣慰!这篇文章我改动较少.本来自己也很有感触想大刀阔斧地把整篇文章改写一遍,特别是后面感想部分,可是后来一想,还是不要了,这毕竟是我同学的努力之作,我要尽量保持她原有的风格.呵呵.希望她不断进步.where there is a will, there is a way.
Today , I recalled a thought-provoking news that due to many years of hard work , a mother of over sixty years old suffered from uremia and kidney transplant was desperately needed . Her son who was just thirty years old donated one of his kidneys to his mother .
After reading this news , some people , especially some young people might think that it is not worthwhile for the son to donate one of his kidney to his mother . They argue that the young man still has a long way to go , while his mother has almost approached the end of her life , hence her son needn’t sacrifice so enormously in view of his future life. It is well known that lacking a normal kidney means tremendous inconvenience in all aspects of life. .
However, in my opinion, those people are far too selfish. They have been taking their parents’ love and devotion for granted ever since they were children, and miserly give their parents love and devotion when their parents need them . From the news , we can see that the son has set an excellent example for the young generation nowadays. Therefore , I hope young people today can learn from the son and do something for their parents . It is worth the candle . |
