对酒当歌，人生几何？ Singing with a cup of liquor
I’m sighing time flies faster
譬如朝露，去日苦多。 Just like dew in the morning steaming
Our time also gone with the wind
慨当以慷，忧思难忘。 I’m singing with great thrill
Hardly let go the pain without feel
何以解忧？唯有杜康。 What is the cure for my sorrow?
Only the liquor could rid me of cold
青青子衿，悠悠我心。Dear my fellow students or classmates
I’m missing you more than I can say
但为君故，沈吟至今。 Due to my deep miss to you
I’m still singing among the few
呦呦鹿鸣，食野之苹。 The deer are happily bleating
Grazing at the grass on the hill
我有嘉宾，鼓瑟吹笙。If some great minds drop by my home
I’ll play zither and flute for them alone
明明如月，何时可掇？The splendid moon hanging in the sky
No one can touch it even he can fly
忧从中来，不可断绝。My sorrow comes up from nowhere
It dies not forever
越陌度阡，枉用相存。All my dear friends come across the field to visit me humbly
契阔谈宴，心念旧恩。We have a great time talking about the past precious relationship happily
月明星稀，乌鹊南飞，The moon is bright and the stars rare
The crows are flying towards south.
绕树三匝，何枝可依？ They are flying around the trees
Only to find nowhere to have a lean
山不厌高，海不厌深。 The mountain will never feel itself too high
Nor will the sea feel itself too deep
周公吐哺，天下归心。 Only by learning from Emperor Zhou to accept all great minds
Will the world integrate into one.
