昨天在地铁上看完了余华写的>, 真的感慨万千, 久久不能释怀. 读到宋钢卧轨自杀时, 我禁不住流泪了. 好久没有试过读书读得如此感动了, 所以一时也找不到合适的词来形容我当时的心情.
在整本书里, 其实我最欣赏的人物是宋钢, 一个认真, 执着而且对爱情无比忠诚的人. 但是, 也许就是他的认真执着以及对爱情的忠诚, 将他的一生损耗得一丝不剩, 最后葬身火车滚滚的车轮下. 他的父亲, 宋凡平, 也同样是命途多舛. 宋凡平是一个高大帅气而且非常谦和热情的人. 然而就是这么一个好人, 最后却死在文化大革命的红卫兵的木棍下. 他被关进仓库, 日夜遭受非人的折磨. 然而这一切折磨都没有让这个铁汉子屈服. 哪怕手脱臼了, 他也依然笑着对待每一个人. 当他的儿子问他为什么有一只手不会动时, 他只是微笑地说, 那只手需要休息. 然而, 当他写信答应了要去上海接他住院的妻子李兰回来时, 他害怕李兰见他没有去而为他担忧, 于是在约定的当天, 他义无反顾地逃出仓库冲向开往上海的列车. 而就是这种强烈爱情下的义无反顾, 让这个真诚老实的人被红卫兵打得头破手断, 最后还被木棍刺穿腹而死. 而宋凡平, 哪怕还剩最后一口气, 他也一直要往车站里爬, 因为他深深地挂念着在远方等候他的妻子.
当时宋凡平的儿子宋钢才七八岁. 而谁也没有想到, 三十几年后, 宋钢也和他的父亲经历同样的命运, 也要为了爱情而死. 刚开始, 宋钢与林红的爱情让人感到无比的甜蜜. 一个风度翩翩气度不凡, 另一个则是当时刘镇上公认的第一美人. 这对恋人经历了很多艰辛最后才走在一起. 婚后二十多年里, 两个互敬互爱. 可是, 命运终究没有眷顾宋钢. 他的事业接二连三地受到冲击, 而且还把身体也弄垮了. 为了让妻子林红过上好日子, 他不顾自己得了严重的肺病, 跟着一个骗子到外地兜售一些产品. 而就在他背井离乡的这段时间里, 他挚爱的妻子居然和他最好的兄弟李光头勾搭上了. 最后当他怀里揣着用血汗换来的几万块钱回到家乡准备和妻子好好过完余生时, 他却得知了妻子和自己的好兄弟的事情. 他震惊之余并没有责怪妻子和兄弟, 而是对妻子感到深深的愧疚, 因为自己没能让她过上好生活. 最后, 他把所有的钱放在妻子的枕头底下, 并且留下两封信(一封给他妻子,一封给他兄弟), 然后就在那个夕阳已经沉下山的傍晚, 他缓缓地躺在铁轨上, 眼睛望着天边飞远的鸟儿, 在列车的呼啸中结束了自己的一生.
一个对爱情, 对亲人诚挚而无私的人, 就这样走了. 对于宋钢的事情, 我觉得自己的概括过于轻描淡写, 里面有很多情节只有读了原书才可以了解, 我们也才能感受到里面的五味人生. 我甚至有点责备余华, 把两个如此正直善良的人(宋凡平和宋钢)推向如此残酷的结局. 但是转而一想, 似乎一切都在情理之中. 文革中有不少命运悲惨的人, 而改革开放以后不幸的人, 又何偿少呢? 某些时代具有普遍的悲剧性, 但是悲剧性却不会永远只属于某个时代. 余华的>真实地展示了文革时期和改革开放以后人们的百样人生. 读完这本书, 我似乎感受到了: 有时候, 不是你选择人生, 而是人生选择了你.

Topic: In many countries, prison is the common solution to the problem of crime. However, some think that it would be more effective to provide people with better education so that they would not become criminals. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

To control the crime rate has long remained the core target for most police stations in many countries, and prison has enjoyed lasting priority for the judiciaries as a way to reduce crimes. But some people argue that it would be more effective in reducing crimes by providing people with better education so that they would not become criminals.
Needless to say, education plays a crucial and even fundamental role in eliminating crimes in our society, because with sound and systematic education from childhood to adulthood, people tend to have a stronger sense of responsibility towards their families and the communities they are belonging to. Therefore, they will be to a large extent able to judge right from wrong and know to keep our society in harmony with their best efforts.
However, mere education without tough punishment for criminals such as imprisonment is by no means enough to lower crime rates. Without due penalties, some criminals, who would not feel the least guilty for the crimes they have committed, would carry on jeopardizing our social peace, resulting in more victims getting hurt from them. Imposing imprisonment is one of the efficacious ways to intimidate the existing and potential criminals not to break the law at the cost of their freedom. Therefore, it is a must-have for every nation in the world to safeguard social peace and security.
Building a harmonious society with low crime rates is never an easy task for every government and the ways to achieve this goal should not be either simply providing better education or imposing tough imprisonment. Instead, we should combine these two measures together so that we can solve this problem radically in the long run. |
