Good friends remain true and reliable no matter what.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of a fair-weather friend. A "friend" like that is only friendly when things are going well. The moment we get into trouble or are in need of help, fair-weather friends vanish (消失 ).
"If I lost my job and had no money, I wonder if I'd still have my friends." Felix thought as he stood in the rain.
"I'd hope none of them turns out to be a fair-weather friend !"
酒肉朋友
真正的好朋友不论发生任何事情都是那么忠诚和可靠的。
不幸的是，a fair-weather friend(酒肉朋友)就不是这样了。当一切都很顺利时，他就是“朋友”。但当我们陷入困境中或者需要帮忙时，fair-weather friend就消失了。
