As an old saying goes, what goes around comes around. For the most part, we tend to apply this to our lives in a negative way, but in reality, this saying is also true when used positively. To my point more distinctly, I claim that if we always harbor a giving heart instead of a receiving one to the people around, then we will receive more helping hands when it is really needed.
However, in real life, we always do the opposite. Of course, it is our instinct to receive instead of giving. This instinct was formed in the procedure of human development of 5000 years. Any efforts we make today are expected to receive a better pay tomorrow. But if everyone of us just focus on a repay for what we give, even for giving nothing, then our relationship with others will become apathetic. We will never feel a thread of warmth among our friends, even families.
As a matter of fact, in my viewpoint, I do hold that we should give without any expectation of receiving in the future. We should extend our hands and our favor over those who do badly need it without expecting a repay. After all, it is kind of good deed and can make our lives more meaningful, through which we can deeply sense the true value of our lives. That is why when you help someone out through his setbacks, you will feel tremendous happiness from the bottom of your heart! Actually in this process you are receiving all the time! What on earth are you receiving? The answer is obvious! You are receiving a heart of satisfaction and self-fulfillment!
But in most cases, the people who give a lot also receive enormous repay! They win the respect from others through their good deeds! Thus when they fall into difficulty one day, others will surely spare no efforts to help them through! Based on this, giving is actually a win-win strategy! However small contribution you make to others, you do contribute! The value of kindness cannot be merely measured with money or materials! As long as you have tried your best, even just say some comforting words to encourage someone, you are as well super!
Remember that giving and receiving are the both sides of the same coin, while giving is the premise of receiving! So anyone who is willing to give today, I suppose, will definitely receivetriple in the future. Why? It is simply because what goes around comes around! |
