Nowadays,  there   are   a   series  of   critical   waste   problems   in  some   campuses .  We  can  easily   see     many   students   throw   the  leftovers  into   the   garbage  cans ;  some   students   optionally   switch the  tap on  but do not switch it off after using water leaving it  running  all the time..
Wasting is really a deed of sin for both individual and society.  First of all, our country is not fully developed and financially rich. In some remote poor countryside areas, thousands of people are still in desperate shortage of food and confronted with starvation. Secondly, our natural resources    are fairly limited, while the domestic demand for resources is on the rise rapidly. Hence, the further wasting of resource will definitely set a barrier to   our further development. In addition, the waste may bring about various environmental pollution.
From the points I mention above, we can conclude that It is our unshakable duty and determination to reduce  wasting   and   value   the   materials   we   use   in  daily   life.  It is a pressing issue that needs to be tackled in no time so as to prevent further dissipation. As contemporary college students, we should have a greater sense and awareness of the severity of the issue than the ordinary. We should set a good example by reducing even stopping lavishing. We can simply start with those small trifles in life. Only by doing so can we successfully develop a truly strong and efficient country!
