When asked about who's the best teacher, quite a few people may say that the teachers in school are the best ones, while some may regard their parents as their best teachers. For my part, I consistently agree with the saying that parents are the initial and the best teachers. Here are my reasons.
First of all, as the study to infants indicates, at the very beginning of our life, our behavior was learnt through imitating our parents'. As the saying that like father like son goes, our parents' behavior influences us deeply even though the process is evolving under unconsciousness.
Secondly, at the first stage of our childhood most of us lives together with our parents and the relationship between children and parents plays an vital role in forming one's personality。An experiment conducted by northern-American scientists shows that a large amount of the children who fail to get along well with their parents tend to be introversive, while those who get along well with their parents are mostly outgoing.
Last but not the least, parents teach children the merit of such values as truth, courage, integrity, hard work and care, which can help him lay a good foundation for their future achievement, because it's the root of the human wisdom.
Recalling my childhood I did benefit tremendously from my parents' indoctrination which renders me the ability to get through the tough frustration and the talent to assimilate knowledge. It's extremely essential to run my life smoothly.
Altogether, from what has been discussed above we can draw the conclusion that parents are our best parents. |
