It is my honor to speak here, Please allow me to introduce myself first. I'm Gao yun,a cheerful boy from Class 3 Senior 2, and I am glad to share my topic with you "Let's conquer English togegher."
First, I would like to tell you a ture story of myself,At the beginning of learning English ,I had no interest in English. So I had a gteat challenge in the middle school,I almost knew nothing about English and failed in the exam over and over again in that three years.I almost gave it up .Later, I realitized I must be absolutely responsible for society, parents and myself. Going to a famous university is my dream .If my dream comes true ,I must meet the challenge to conquer English. So I do the work as much as I can to improve my English .I read English as loud as I can every morning .I memorize English words as many as I can.So far my efforts have produced generous returns,I got great progress,So,my friends,we should believe that all our efforts are available.
We know, English is very important today, It is used everywhere, in the world, It becoms the most popular language on Internet and for International trade. If we can speak English well ,we will have more chances to succeed.
So we must conquer English for our bright future ,Some students say:"English is very difficult". Now I would like to tell you:” Don't lose confidence, with high spirit ,enthusiasm and vigor, we will not fail.”
To be honest, At the begining of my learning English ,I learn English only in order to pass exams. But now I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness , but because I fall in love with it.
Now when I Learn English ,I can feel a different way to touch the world ,when I read English novels ,I can feel the pleasure from the book , when I speak English ,I can feel confident from my words ,I believe that if you work as hard as me ,you will find the beauty of English and love it. If we love English everyday, I belive it will love us too.
Today I believe this great contest will change mylife. Today I believe that all our efforts will produce generous returns, Today I believe English will be a powerful weapon in our life.
Therefore, we must devote all our energy to learning English .
