这两天喉咙慢慢好起来，说话声音也大了，本来在暗自高兴，多亏了陈乐介绍的石榴还有突然想起表弟叫我吃板蓝根的糖衣片。真的很感谢陈乐送给我的两个大大的石榴。一打开果皮，里面一粒粒的石榴籽红得晶莹剔透，像一粒粒闪光的宝石。吃下去味道更绝，甜极了。最重要的是它对咽喉炎有很好的疗效。另外我突然想起放假时表弟来我家玩，我告诉他喉咙不行的事，他随口说了一句叫我吃板蓝根药片，我当时不以为意，因为一瓶板蓝根药片才一块我钱，我吃了其他很贵的药都没有效，更不要说那盒便宜货了，所以一直没吃，而是一直在医生和各种贵药中折腾着，结果病情时好时坏的，把我折磨透了。后来上国际投资课时，楚芳玲说的一句话让我心里稍稍震惊了一下，她说：“药不是越贵越好，而是看那种药适不适合你吃，有些人吃了会康复的药你吃了可能没有效。”后来回到宿舍仔细思忖了一会，决定买板蓝根试试，结果一吃效果非常明显，现在虽然我的喉咙还没完全恢复到从前的状态，不过已经好了很多了！看来我真的要改变一下我从前对药的观念！
可是喉咙刚好点，另一个问题又来了，这两天我居然长了一个智齿，痛得我坐也不是站也不是。刚开始牙龈肿胀，而且淋巴也肿痛，我以为是上火什么的，就去看医生，想不到那个社区医生真是个没料的货，连我长智齿也看不出，说我是口腔发炎，开了一些无所谓的药，我吃了一点效也没有，情况反而更炎重。今天我完全不能吃饭和嚼东西了，喝水也痛得想流眼泪，只有喝一些白粥充饥，真是惨不忍睹！更惨的不是没东西吃，而是牙痛引发的头痛和颈痛，痛得我根本静不下心来看书，成天像孤魂野鬼一样在宿舍游荡，不停地向大伟发牢骚，真是祸不单行！昨晚极度不舒服，早早睡了，整个人像虚脱了一样。躺在床上我忍不住苦笑：这段时间真是倒了八辈子霉，两个多月来没有一天是不吃药的，上天仿佛在戏弄我一样。希望明天拔了智齿以后可以万事大吉，安心学习和工作了！
最近在黄海的帮助下，我报了中华会计网校会计和审计的学习，开始了我考注册会计师的生涯。虽然是明年再考，可是我知道这个考试很难，我一点也不敢怠慢，还是得好好复习，把基础打扎实。要是我的会计知识有我的英语一半这么好我就心满意足了，哈哈！可惜没有，我知道我的专业学得很烂，可能别人不觉得，但我真的很羞愧。其实仔细想想，也是正常的，大学三年来学英语的时间是学专业时间的几倍，大部分时间都放在了英语上，专业不烂才怪。本人又不是什么天才或者非常聪明的人，勤奋是我唯一的资本了。现在只要不是非常高深的英语考试，我都不会感到害怕。接下来的任务就是一方面要巩固英语的学习，积累多一些本专业的词汇，另一方面要进攻专业的学习，争取作一名合格的毕业生！
昨天展灵打电话来说要寄一盒月饼给我，我立马说不要！他问我干吗反应这么大，好像月饼有毒一样。我笑着说：“就是有毒啊，我喉咙这样子，再吃月饼就真的会哑掉了！”好久没见他了，他比我还要忙，一个月可能才和他聊几句Q。他现在转行业了，本来当翻译的，现在在上海浦东一家外贸公司全权负责外贸生意，经常半夜也要起床查客户邮件什么的，弄得他作息规律严重失调，他整天抱怨辛苦，呵呵！其实我老是对他说的一句话就是：人生现在不奋斗，更待何时？哈哈！
本来英语角第一部分要给华康主持的，可是今天在院办某某老师坚持要求我继续当多一个学期的主持，下学期再交给华康。他说一方面我当了这么久经验很丰富，而且现在英语角好不容易走到现在平稳繁荣时期，需要我进一步巩固和发展，让它成为我们经济学院一大特色；另一方面华康才刚上大二，水平和经验都不太足够，需要他继续参加英语角学习我的方法和能力。想想也是的，华康之前没有任何经验，现在贸贸然要他接手，他肯定一团乱，而且现在的英语角不比当初二十来个人这么简单，现在一来就是六七十个人，整个课室差不多都满了，很难管理的。所以我接受了老师的意见，继续主持英语角。
好了，牢骚发完了，英语文章也写完了。睡觉去！

Today when I practiced oral English with my friend, we discussed a piece of news that happened several years ago. A college student saved a 70-year-old farmer who fell into the pond at the cost of his life. we were discussing whether it was worthy for the college student to do so. Now I want to share my viewpoint with you, my dear audience!
I remember after the news was reported, tons of comments about it emerged on the forums of the internet. Many people said that it was unworthy for the college student to save the old farmer. They held that the farmer was very old and would not have too much time to live. On the contrary, the college student was just in his 20s and his life was still long. Another reason the oppositions held was that the old farmer had retired and could not contribute to our society any more, but the college student, after receiving education for a long time, can undoubtedly dedicate more to our society. Therefore, they thought it was not worthwhile for the college student to save the old man at the cost of his life.
Hearing these statements, I feel sorry for the shallow mind of those critics. For one thing, I can deeply sense that our morality is losing in some way; for another, I can learn to a great extent that we always focus our attention on the short-term benefits instead of considering the long-term benefits.
Helping those in trouble has been a traditional virtue for Chinese people, and saving life is unquestionably a sacred job for anyone who has the ability to do it. So based on this aspect, it is totally right for the college student to save the old man. Of course, when you are seeing someone being drowned, it is unwise to plunge into the water without knowing how to swim. At this moment, you should seek other means to save the victim such as calling people around to help or seeking a long stick to pull the victim out of the water. If you jump into the water without knowing to swim, then you will lose your life and the victim will also be drowned to death. Your spirit deserves praise, but your action is stupid. However, if you are expert in swimming, it is vital for you to save the victim timely. Therefore, now if you come to the case in the news, we can learn that the college student knew to swim and it was quite right for him to save the old man.
Secondly, I do not deny that the college student could contribute more to our society than the old farmer right then, so if we only focus on this short-term benefit, we will tend to think that it is not worthwhile for the student to save the farmer. Nonetheless, if we think from the long-term perspective, our standpoint may falter. The college student’s deed is far beyond simply saving a life. It also raises and promotes our awareness of helping others in need, a super virtue that can harmonize the whole society. Nowadays, people bathe in too many negative affairs or reports, then gradually they may become cynical and think that there are no good people at all in our society. But the good deed of the student can conversely demonstrate to the public that in our society where materialism is flooding, there are still some kind and super people who are caring about others all the time. It can greatly strengthen people’s hope and beliefs and call on them to act the same way! Our society will become more and more harmonious!
