昨天看了国家地理频道的一个关于二战的实况节目，名为《广岛原子弹爆炸》。一个小时的英文台节目完了以后，我依旧盯着屏幕良久，内心的震憾已经把我的思想暂时停留住了。
Yesterday, I watched a program called “The Atomic Explosion in Hiroshima” in the National Geography Channel. After the one-hour program concluded, I kept staring at the screen for a long time, deeply shocked and petrified by the cruel scenes.
1945年8月5日，二战即将结束前的一天，日本的右翼势力在过去的八年里极度扩张到达顶峰后终于气数将尽。中国，美国，俄罗斯等国家的矛头都指向这个罪恶的军队。然而虽然明知自己已是强弩之末，日本军国主义势力依旧不肯低头，死死反抗，继续梦想着有一天称霸世界，推行其残酷的侵略政策。
On August 5th, 1945, the day before the end of The Second World War, the right-wing force of Japan, after culminating to its highest in the past 8 years, declined to death for then. China, America and Russia averted their spears to this malicious army. However, though they knew they would come to perish soon, the Japanese army still refused to surrender and kept fighting with their last strength, dreaming one day they would conquer the world.
就在那一天，美国通过无线电广播向日本发表声明：如果日本不投降，美国将会在日本投放原子弹。或许日本当时也不清楚原子弹是什么东西，不知道它的威力是如此之大，结果继续负隅顽抗。不过也难怪，就连美国科学家本身也不太清楚原子弹的威力，因为当时谁也没有看过原子弹爆炸会造成怎样的后果，只是根据爱因斯坦的公式知道它释放出来的能量是非常巨大的。
Exactly on that day, America broadcast to Japan a declaration that if Japan still refused to surrender, America would drop an atomic bomb on its territory. Maybe Japan had no idea about atomic bomb, thereby now knowing its overwhelming power, so they still fought with the last strength. But it was quite normal, for even American scientists themselves did not a have a full understanding of the power of nuclear weapons and its disastrous consequence. What they only knew is a massive energy produced by atomic bomb according to the Einstein’s formula.
于是在8月6日，一方面为了阻止战争的继续蔓延，一方面出于试验的心理，美国向广岛投放了第一颗原子弹。原子弹凭空而降，在爆炸的一瞬间，整个广岛的房屋如纸盒般被撕成碎砾细瓦，废墟一片，火灾四起。离原子弹中心较近的人，当场被蒸发，只留下坐在台阶上的痕迹。离原子弹较远的人，则被瞬间炭化，只留下僵硬的身子立在空中，或者倒在地上。于在离原子弹更远的人，也被原子弹的强大能量震得腾飞而摔死或者被引起的火灾活活烧死。十万条鲜活的生命倾刻间化为乌有，而活下来的寥寥无几。当活下来的人在庆幸躲过原子弹的正面冲击时，他们不知道，更大的灾难还在后面，这让他们生不如死。
The next day, in order to curb the spreading of the war and out of the thinking of trial, America cast the first bomb on Hiroshima. The bomb fell from the sky and in the second of its explosion, all houses in the city were torn down to pieces like paper boxes. Every place became debris and ruins, accompanied by monstrous fire. People near the atomic bomb were evaporated instantly, only leaving a sign on the steps. Those far away from the bomb became carbon, leaving a stiff body standing or lying on the ground. Those farthest away were bounced to fly and died with a heavy fall or a fierce burning. Tens of thousands of lives were claimed in a flash. The number of survivors was so lean. While the survivors felt lucky for escaping a disaster, they never imagined a more horrible disaster was on the way that made them more painful than death.
灾难过后，广岛已成废墟一片，难民们身受重创，而且粮食水源严重不足，这使得他们雪上加霜。无独有偶，第二天居然天降“甘霖”，让难民们兴奋不已。然而雨水全是黑色的，黑得如炭一般。那是因为原子弹产生的尘埃和粒子被云层吸收所致。难民们也顾不得这么多，都出去外面张开口喝下那些黑色的雨水。然而他们做梦也没想到，雨水时的尘埃微粒含有极强的放射性元素。最后他们个个全身皮肤溃烂，器官衰竭而死。成功活下来的，更是屈指可数！
After the disaster, Hiroshima became a total ruin. Refugees were badly injured and in desperate shortage of food and water, which worsened their tragic situation. Coincidently, the next day rain fell heavily, which made the refugees more than happy. But the rain was black like coal because the dust and particle caused by the bomb were absorbed by the clouds. Nevertheless, with a great yearning for water, many refugees opened their mouth for the black rain. But they never imagined the particles contained in the rain had an array of radiation. At last, their skin was rotting and their organ exhausted to death. Only a small handful of people survived.
然而，第一次原子弹的惨痛并未让日本反省投降，相反，日本军国主义加强其侵略计划，还安慰广岛的难民们“每一场战争都有人要牺牲，叫国民们要振奋精神全力抗敌”。于是美国通过广播发表第二次声明：三天后，日本若不投降，将会投放第二颗原子弹。然而日本罪恶的势力并未动容丝毫，将整个国家再次推入灾难的渊薮。第三天，美国向长崎投入了第二颗原子弹，五万条无辜的生命又在瞬间化为乌有。
Whereas, the first atomic bomb did not render Japan reflect on itself and gave up fighting. On the contrary, they enforced their invading plan and comforted the victims by saying that every war sacrificed some peopled and they needed to pull themselves together to fight. Then, America broadcast to Japan a second declaration that if Japan did not surrender in three days, they would drop another atomic bomb. How the evil force did not change little, and pushed its nation into abyss again. On the third day, America dropped a second bomb on Nagasaki, resulting in 50000 lives claimed.
终于，日本天皇宣布投降。1945年8月15日，当日本天皇在无条件投降协议书上签字时，第二次世界大战宣布结束，亿万世界人民欢呼，和平的曙光终于到来。
At last, the emperor of Japan announced capitulation. On August 15th , 1945, the Japanese emperor’s sighing his name on the capitulation ushered in the ending of the war. Billions of people exclaimed worldwide for the shining of peace again.
二战虽然远去，但是那个血可漂橹的时代依旧是我们内心的一处伤疤，时不时隐隐作痛。翻着史册，看着相关的纪录片，我们似乎依旧可以闻到那血腥味，听到那悲惨的嚎叫，这也更加警醒我们要加倍珍惜现在和平的生活。而原子弹的威力也让人担忧。现在全球的核武器加总起来，足以将整个地球毁灭几百次。美国用原子弹加速了二战的进程，提早为世界人民迎来了和平，然而将来是否有一天，我们也会因为原子弹而灭亡呢？这是值得我们深思的问题。
Far away as the second world war went, the bloody era is still a scar in our heart, aching now and then, flipping through history literatures and watching relevant documentaries, we can still seemingly smell the blood and hear the miserable wailing, which further reminds us to cherish our present peaceful life. And the power of atomic bomb remains a giant concern for us. Now the total amount of nuclear weapons can bombard the whole world several hundred times. America utilized the atomic bombs to accelerate the war process, embracing peace for us ahead of time. But will we be destroyed by atomic bombs one day in the future? It is a critical question worth our profound meditation. |
